A part of me

Saint Augustine's school was the first school founded by the Congregatio Immaculati Cordie Mariae sisters, a missionary group, in 1910. The preservation of the school is very important because without it, my jolly elementary school memories and the symbol of the CICM sisters’ success are lost. This school with big acacia trees scattered around, Spanish style architecture buildings, students dressed in white and navy blue colored uniforms, and a church in the middle of the of the campus matters to me because it is the place where my beliefs and values were shaped.

  3. You blended the personal and cultural significance of Saint Augustine's beautifully. I agree, I appreciate that you cited your facts. It always makes posts seem more reliable and professional. I also like that you added a picture which showed exactly what you described!

It would have been cool if you could have added a personal story to the blog. I understand that it is hard in 100 words! I can see nothing else to improve, I really enjoyed your work. Thank you for sharing!

  4. I liked how you showed cultural significance and history, but also shared your childhood connection to the place. The imagery of the school was great as well.

When talking about the school, you could have made it more personal. For example, saying you walked to the school with the big acacia trees in your school outfit.

  5. I came here, I "saw" what you were talking about, and now I have to conquer my fear of saying something that could of been better. Well, as a matter of fact, everything was fine. Great job.

  8. I love the imagery of your blog. I think that without the picture, I could still feel like I could sketch in my mind the image of your place. Well done.

  9. I like how you cited your sources very academically and the passion you give to the school. For the title you should have use upper cases for the rest of the words, not just the first one.

  10. I liked how you described this place and why it holds so much significance in your life, but maybe you could expand on why this place matters to a greater range of people.
